朱力傳道自幼生長於無神論環境，青少年時期赴美留學。初抵美國時，他帶著批判的視角進入教會，試圖挑戰並駁斥基督信仰。然而，如今的朱力傳道與妻子 Christina 一同在梨城植堂，致力於幫助鄰舍們認識基督信仰，並在這個多富挑戰的時代中以信仰來回應各種人生議題。

朱力傳道在金融業擁有二十餘年的專業經驗，對科學與人文領域有著濃厚的興趣，並積極關注信仰與文化的對話。他喜歡閱讀、結交朋友、打球和騎車。

朱力傳道於 2019 年獲得基督教輔導與教育基金會頒發的靈命塑造認證，並於 2022 年通過城市植堂網絡認證，成為城市事工傳道。自 2020 年以來，他在改革宗神學院攻讀聖經碩士。

Brother Richard's journey to faith was unconventional. Raised in an atheistic environment, he moved to the States as a teenager. Initially, he stepped into churches to pull Christians out, while determined to challenge and dismantle the Christian faith. Yet, God had other plans. With over two decades of experience in the financial industry, Brother Richard maintains a deep passion for people and knowledge. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and cycling.

He has a Formation Certificate in Biblical Counseling from CCEF since 2019; and in 2022, Brother Richard was certified as a City Minister through Redeemer City to City. He has also been pursuing Master of Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary since 2020.

Together with his beloved wife Christina, the couple is seeking to plant a church in Pearland, where they desire to equip their neighbors to engage faith in a complex world with conviction and clarity.
